Oxana Kernan is a Los Angeles-based Fashion & Fine Art Photographer. She specializes in Portraits and Digital Art, elevating her craft with years of award-winning work as a Hair Stylist and Make-up Artist.

Oxana’s vibrant career in the Beauty Industry as a hair stylist and makeup artist began 15 years ago inspired by all that surrounded her, the budding artist felt an enormous desire to create imagery. The privilege of Oxana's background influences how she interprets light, color, details and style while creating a concept or telling a visual story. She becomes obsessed with a vision for the final image and drives the process to achieve it.

Drawn to the eyes, lips, hair, style, character, emotion, and all details of your unique beauty quantify the story you share, Oxana’s muse to capture.  You are the art, you are creation, the purity and beauty that shines through your eyes to be reflected. 

The process begins during an initial consultation with a client, where Oxana discusses ideas on wardrobe, hair, make-up and all things beauty. The work is completed only after many dedicated hours of mastery retouching in addition to expressive or stylistic elements. Oxana's beauty photography has been featured in several fashion magazines. Curious by nature, she constantly searches for various outlets for her creativity. The artist has designed and brought to life fashion accessories and clothing pieces for many of her fashion shoots.

         A memorable stepping stone in her career was winning the GrandPrize of the "Pump Your Lush", a national contest created by Sephora and Make Up For Ever. Oxana was awarded an unforgettable trip to Paris, mentoring sessions with Dany Sanz, the founder of Make Up For Ever, and professional tools to take her career to the highest level. Oxana is looking forward to collaborating with publications, creative agencies and private clients.
